I was scrolling LinkedIn, saw Jenna Mari Matecki's post about some coffee club meetup, thought "why not," and registered. Zero expectations, zero understanding of who would be there or what it would feel like.

So The Club met. And two hours later, I walked out with that rare, disorienting feeling: what had just happened, and why was it so good?

I've lived in Barcelona for two and a half years. I have people here, I have routines. But I haven't had that in quite a while — a space where the conversation goes deep fast, where strangers somehow become people you already want to see again, where you laugh and then suddenly talk about something that actually matters.

Was it luck? We'd spoken today that "right place, right time" only works when you're internally ready for it. Like, scrolls happen every day. The click only happens when something in you is already open.
